David Verwey  is a second-generation missionary from South Africa who has served with Japan Mission in Osaka for over 30 years. While Japan has thousands of churches, many are small and face ongoing challenges. These churches are often surrounded by communities with significant needs, including counseling, social support, childcare, care for the elderly, and education.

Japan Mission exists to come alongside local churches by providing workers and resources, helping them serve their communities in practical ways and build meaningful relationships. Through partnerships like this, the Door of Faith movement has the opportunity to support and strengthen local churches as they reach the nation of Japan.

In addition, we are hosting a special time with David on Saturday, February 21 at 8:30am. This Q&A session is for those interested in learning more about Japan Mission and its work in Japan. We encourage you to mark your calendar and join us.
