Thailand
Pastor Anthony Web

For a brief history, my wife and I were born again and married on the same day back in July 24, 1995. Be fore that, I was prize fighting on Thai television from 1990 -1995 under the name of "Tony Sasiprapa-gym." In 1996, the Lord sent my wife and I to Hawaii to be trained at the Door of Faith Church and Bible School; and I believe that we were the last two "missionaries" to be trained and ordained by Sister Mildred Brostek. We returned to Thailand in 1998. By the grace of God, we preach all over Thailand, Burma, Laos PDR, Cambodia, and the Philippines. For the Lord has gifted and called me to do the work of an evangelist. We have three children: Esther, our eldest daughter; Mordecai, our son; and Hadassah, our youngest daughter. And my wife's name is Sister Anesta. Mission Statement: Our mission statement is "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14). Though we are in Thailand, we are preaching the gospel to souls from all over the world. For pre-COVID-19, souls from all over the world came to Thailand; and we preach the gospel on these streets that they are coming to, especially in the red light areas. Plus, by the miraculous provisions of God, we have gospel tracts in the many languages of the world, that my family gives out while I preach the gospel. As Sister Mildred Brostek trained us to grow, glow, and go, we are still growing, glowing, and going. And we are going to souls from all over the world with the gospel of the kingdom.

Korean Missions
Pastor Jacob Hong, North Korea.

 Vision Statement:

Some of you who know me ask, ‘Brother Hong how did you get into the North Korean ministry? And Why?' | have asked myself that very question so many times. In 2007, while serving as a principal in a Korean international school, I met Brother Ben Torrey. His Father, R. A. Torrey III was a famous missionary in South Korea who operated Jesus Abbey. Ben shared that God had called him back to Korea for North Korean ministry, because the nation would soon be unified. Likewise, I felt this same call from the Lord to North Korea. At the time, I had no idea how I was going to accomplish this. During all this, God gave me one clear instruction: Go back to Hawaii! Hawaii? What has that got to do with North Korea? However, God told me that He has an army pre pared for North Korea in Hawaii. So in 2008, by faith, our family made the move to Hawaii. During this time, I got connected to First Assembly of God who was looking to plant a North Korean ministry! With their support, I was sent to South Korea to plant a church near the border of the DMZ. In the course of time, I met many missionaries who went in and out of N. Korea as humanitarian Non Governmental Organization (NGO). I also became the Humanitarian director of Love North Korea Ministries and went to North Korea 5 times. It has been a whirlwind experience, but it is an ongoing journey that has just begun. Currently, I am the director of Missions at Door of Faith Church and working with many missionaries who are connected to North Korean missions.

 Mission statement:

Help ministries engage in North Korea through prayer and raising funds for them. Also minister to North Korean Refugees in South Korea to be disciple of Jesus Christ to prepare for the unification to come in order to change North Korea with Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Japan Missions
Pastor David Verwey

Vision and Mission Statement: Spiritually Thriving Centers of Hope The motto of Japan Mission is Called to Serve. We desire to serve the Japanese people in whatever way the Lord leads, so that some may be saved. The two main purposes of our ministry continues to be to evangelize the unsaved and assist the Bible-teaching churches of Japan. Japan Mission is interdenominational, not forming churches, but rather linking those reached through various avenues of ministry to already existing Bible-teaching Churches. Japan is in great need of more churches that are spiritually thriving centers of hope, that can meet the needs of those in their communities. The Lord has directed us to aid in the development of such centers of hope by encouraging the small churches — thereby strengthening the Christian community as a whole. Most of the 7,800 churches in Japan have an attendance of fewer than 30 people and struggle to survive. These churches are surrounded by people in need of counseling, social support, quality childcare, care for the elderly and effective education. JM workers and resources help to empower many churches to meet these needs and establish a connection with people – thereby helping them reach people in their communities for Christ:

LITERATURE – JM publishes a monthly evangelistic tract, which helps churches evangelize their communities. We also re main committed to making thousands of Bibles available in various languages throughout Japan, China and other parts of the world. EVANGELISTIC PROGRAMS – Missionary / Teachers teach Conversational English and share the Gospel in many churches. JM workers have also been involved in Camps, Cooking and Choir classes and Services for Children and the Elderly – while sharing the Gospel.

MEDIA & AUDIO VISUAL – JM assists churches with video production, advertising and website development. Evangelistic and Christian educational videos, audio Bibles and message DVDs have also been made available. We remain committed to making significant investments in Christian TV and Radio, which impacts the lives of millions in Japan with the Gospel. RESOURCES & EDUCATION - JM has provided consultation and training seminars that address specific needs. Teachers, special speakers, literature and teaching materials have also been provided. Workers of Japan Mission are actively involved reaching the unsaved for Christ. Special events focusing on Christmas, Easter, English Camps, Barbeque, Parents and Children's groups enable us to share the Gospel with those who have never attended to church. Team members are also invited to serve in many local churches as speakers of worship services and evangelistic events. Christmas is a special time of year when Japanese people are interested in Christianity. Workers become very busy as they participate in over 100 evangelistic meetings, concerts and parties in various churches to reach those in local communities who desire to learn more about the meaning of Christmas. Pray that many will be reached through these outreach opportunities.

Japan - Chi Alpha Japan Joyce Kitano Purpose and History of Ministry: I've been a missionary for 33 years and teach in the Bible School, serve at a local Japanese church, and on the Japanese National Youth Department and World Missions Department, and I travel in Japan and internationally to preach and do training. But my main ministry is as the Director of Chi Alpha Japan. We started the first campus Bible Study in 1997 at the University of Tokyo and then over the years have expand- ed to other campuses. Students are the most open segment of the population in Japan and we have seen them get saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and several have become pastors of Japanese churches and Bible School professors. Our main focus is on campus Bible studies, friendship evangelism, discipleship, English conversation partners, food events, concerts, prayer walking, etc.

Ireland
Pastor Jamie Corcoran

Myself and my wife Ludmila found our selves praying asking God for a next step in our lives. We wanted to make a difference in our world and to be part of God’s great rescue plan for Ireland, to serve the people of Ireland by inspiring them to pursue an authentic relationship with Jesus, to experience the God that many of us spent our whole lives growing up hearing about but never actually knowing. Bottom line - we wanted to give our lives to help people discover and live out their Extraordinary Purpose in Christ. That was 2008 and we did not expect God to respond to that prayer in the form of leading us to pioneer Lighthouse Church. But since then to now - our desire, our prayer and our mission is still the same. We believe that God loves Ireland and that He has a plan and a purpose for everyone of us; that we have been Made for More. Today, Lighthouse is making a difference in hundreds of lives and many communities, online and on the ground by church planting and partnering with local organizations.

Europe
Missionary Jonas Nyström

“Nystroms On A Mission”, Learning from Tom Bauer the founder of Surfing the Nations our family motto is: “to hear God, obey God and let him deal with the consequences” Vision statement: “Multiplying communities of disciples” Matthew 4:18-19 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 2 Timothy 2:2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. Using the tool called Discovery Bible Study (DBS) we started planting simple churches among refugees in Greece back in 2018. It has now become a growing Pan-European network of churches/ bible study groups as the refugees have moved on to other parts of Europe. In this new season for our ministry we are now responsible to train and support the groups in the northern parts of Eu- rope as we have partners continuing the work in Greece out of Thessaloniki and Athens.

Chi Alpha
Jeffrey & Kelsey Chalko-Mique Chi Alpha Hawaii Directors

In the Bible, the apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:20,

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”

Our movement of campus ministries finds its identity in this passage. We believe that God longs to have each and every person be reconciled to Himself, and that the way that re-connection happens is through the representation of his people. Each of us who takes on the identity of Christianbecomes Christs ambassador—or christou apostoloi in Greek, which we shorten to the first letters Chiand Alpha,or XA.

Our name is our constant remind-
er that each of us has a real part to play in this world. We each can carry Him within us to bring Him closer to the people around us.
